With the 2016 CIF Playoffs looming, the Revolution have finalized their roster prior to the league mandated playoff roster freeze on June 2nd. The roster still includes fan favorites Robert Kent, Jr., Clinton Solomon, and Darius Fudge. Franchise player Frankie Solomon Jr has been reactivated, after spending the majority of the season on injured reserve due to a broken foot he suffered in week 4. Solomon Jr will see playoff action. Tarvarres “Blimp” Williams, one of the team’s two leading receivers is also on the roster. ?Last week in San Angelo, Williams served as the team’s main offensive catalyst as he and Quarterback Robert Kent Jr. connected for five scores. Wide Receiver and Kick Returner Joe Adams is also on the roster. Adams is a proven Kick Returner and a tremendous vertical threat who compliments teammate Clinton Solomon well. In San Angelo, Adams had two kick return touchdowns for a total of 99 yards.
Much of the roster has remained the same. However, there will be one new face for Revs fans. Fullback and Defensive Lineman Undra Hendix has been signed to bolster the Revs defense heading into the playoffs. Hendrix has previous CIF experience as a member of the Amarillo Venom but he most recently played for the Arena Football League’s (AFL) Tampa Bay Storm. Hendrix is looking forward to the opportunity he has to help the Revs achieve their ultimate goal of capturing a CIF Champions Bowl II victory.
