Revs release promotional calendar stacked with talent

The Texas Revolution are proud to announce their most exciting 2018 yet, filled with talented halftime acts and fun events! All the between-plays-action gets started with America’s Got Talent Semifinalist Sara and Hero who will be performing at our first game Sunday February 25.


Sunday February 25 – Sara and Hero

Growing up in Ontario, Canada, Sara successfully ran her own dog training facility for over five years. During that time period, she taught dog trick, obedience, puppy foundation, and agility classes.

Sara is revered as one of the top international trick dog trainers and has received several awards showcasing her achievements in the past years. Her dogs have earned a multitude of agility titles and are savvy in dock diving, frisbee and canine freestyle.

Sara and her Super Collies have made an appearances on The Late Show with David Letterman and continue to captivated audiences all over the world. She has aptly earned her title as Celebrity Dog Trainer after placing 5th on season 12 of America’s Got Talent. She also was awarded Dog Trainer of The Year in 2017 from Greater Mats.

Saturday March 17 – Weiner Dog Races for Patriot PAWS / Military Night

The hot-dog hounds are back! Everyone’s favorite animal race of pure cuteness, sillyness and excitement returns to Revs halftime, with proceeds going to Patriot PAWS, a non-profit charity helping disabled veterans receive a four-legged companion. All retired and active duty military serviceman and women will get in for free to show our appreciation for your service to our country.

Working with our volunteer puppy raisers and our innovative Prison Training program at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Patriot PAWS is able to train an additional 35 dogs in other locations and place about 10-15 Patriot PAWS Service Dogs with disabled veterans each year.

Friday April 6 – Piano Comedian Martyn Lucas

World acclaimed Vocalist and Piano Man Martyn Lucas will amaze Revs fans for the first time. Known as the “USA Wedding Singer” and “World Piano Man”, Lucas has performed in all of the major theaters in the United Kingdom and has played concerts in Euro Disney (Paris) and on all the major cruise lines, including P&OSaga and Carnival Cruise Lines. He’s had successful long running theater tours in the UK with ‘One Night in Vegas’ with musicians from the world acclaimed British Philharmonic Orchestra and the ‘One Night in Vegas’ showgirls.

Lucas can sing in the voices of fourteen different singers including Sir Elton John, Pavarotti, Michael Jackson, Bryan Adams, Richard Marx, Axel Rose, Sir Paul McCartney, Louis Armstrong and many more. Martyn also has an amazing repertoire of 650 songs.

Saturday April 21 – High-flying BMX Show

The talents of our high-flying friends on bikes return to fly over Alamo, flip and spin and dazzle with skill.

Saturday May 12 – Chainsaw Juggler Wade Henry

Yes, you read that right. Wade Henry will be bringing his talents to Frisco for a spectacle you won’t want to miss.

Henry has been developing his various performing skills since he was a child in Winnipeg, Canada.  Initially, he funded these travels as a world-class street performer, delivering his shows on the streets, town squares and harborfront areas of various Australian, Canadian and U.S. cities. He is an accomplished juggler, unicyclist, ropewalker, fire eater, equilibriast, magician and comic. Wade is also a master of the skilled art of handling an audience.

Known as “The High Roller”, over the past 20 years, the “Wade Henry Show” has been phenomenally popular with Fairs and Festivals.  He has performed over 8,000 shows and continues his prolific outflow of entertainment today.

Saturday May 19 – The Amazing Sladek

Acrobats are rare. Acrobats with gray hair are even rarer. “America’s Oldest Daredevil Acrobatic Handbalancer” ? The rarest.

Featured on America’s Got Talent, Little Big Shots: Forever Young and at NBA and college basketball halftimes everywhere, Gary Sladek has been performing daredevil acts for four decades. His act features the grand spectacle, “The Tower of Chairs”.

Saturday June 9 – Whiplash

A fan-favorite returns to the Revs for another season of fun. Watch a monkey on a sheep-dog herd sheep. It’s as cute and fun as it sounds!

Whiplash The Cowboy Monkey is a fan favorite, 3-Time Pro Rodeo Entertainer of the Year, and an international star who has been putting smiles on faces for years. Whiplash is a Capuchin Monkey who travels the country herding wild Barbados sheep at rodeos and events. The world’s smallest cowboy, Whiplash stands 3 feet tall and is 8 pounds of rawhide and steel.
