A Thank You to Revs Nation

To all of Revs nation,

This time of year is about sitting around the table, spending valuable time with family and cherishing life’s moments; Eating great food, watching a great sport and for some of you – getting your own version of indoor football with the family outside, if only the tree and the fence were softer than our padding that surrounds our great sport.

But most of all, it’s about giving thanks – counting the blessings your loved ones have been given and earned, and showing appreciation for all the people, places and things in your life that you hold so dear.

As the Revs sit around the table this Thanksgiving, we can’t help but to feel appreciative. We’re so thankful for our new home – the Dr Pepper Arena – and our new home city – Frisco. The community has been so inviting, so welcoming – the people in it, so friendly, so genuine. We’re thankful for Allen and everything the city provided the Revs during our five years there. We won a Championship in that building and we will never forget that. Our pictures of dominance, of confetti now are proudly displayed in our office as a reminder of what we did and how we got there.

We’re thankful for our business partners, on deals big and small that help this company thrive. No partner is too big or too small for us. It’s about serving you, serving Frisco, Plano and the surrounding cities and giving you a hyper-local, community focused football team you can be proud of.

Our fans are the best, we’d be nothing without them. Our attendance, up every year since the team began in 2013, continues to propel us to a promising future. We are so eager to meet so many new faces that come through our doors Sunday February 25 for our home opener and can’t wait to see so many familiar faces back, not letting a few miles that separate our old and new home keep them from what we believe is the best bang-for-your-buck family-oriented entertainment anywhere.

Our investors, coaches, dance team, arena staff, DJ, clock operator, public address announcer, stat crew, our radio team, playing partners and everyone else that makes our season possible – football is a team effort at all levels and we know we couldn’t do it all without you.

In Frisco and the surrounding areas, when the Cowboys season comes to a close, it’s still football season. Football doesn’t have to stop. You can have football all year long and that is something we hope everyone in this community can be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving from the Texas Revolution!
