Revs to Host Press Conference at The Star, Give away a Pony

FRISCO, TEXAS: Members of the media are invited to attend a press event and
announcement hosted by The Star and the Texas Revolution Professional Football Team
on December 18th beginning at 3:30 PM. Food and beverages will be served from guests
arrival in the atrium of the Dallas Cowboys world headquarters at 1 Cowboys Way in
Frisco, until the formal announcements take place at 4:05 PM. Dallas Cowboys
Executive Vice President, Business Operations, Chad Estis will be in attendance along
with Texas Revolution General Manager Tim Brown to announce a big step forward for
indoor football in Frisco. Dallas Cowboys football Legend Drew Pearson and current
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver, Michael Gallup will also be in attendance.

In addition to media, fans and team partners will be invited later this week with a
“scratch-card” invitation that will assure every attendee a prize. Participants will walk
away with items such as tee-shirts, autographed Cowboys and Revolutions framed
Jerseys and helmets, Cowboys tickets, and more. The grand prize winner is sure to be
thrilled when they are awarded every kid’s dream prize…a new pony!

That is right, the team has actually saved a pony from a local shelter aptly named “Mikey
Gallop” and are awarding the equine as the grand prize! When asked about fellow Revs
brass planning this particular giveaway, Hall-of-Famer and GM Tim Brown
enthusiastically said, “Pony…what Pony? This is a professional football team and a press
conference should not be plagued with ridiculous distractions!” Tim likely did not get a
pony for a pet when he was a child.

Come have fun with the Revolution and hear the biggest news in team history on
Tuesday. For further information on this media and social event, please contact Andrew

  1. I love Tommy and Tim and their whole team. This move to the Ford Center will undoubtably not only elevate their presence in the Frisco community but being located in The
Star the world HQs of the Dallas Cowboys has gotta give this team the attention they do richly deserve. Good for the Texas Revolution. Good for Frisco. Great partnership all the way around!
